Job Title: Personal Care Worker (Casual)

Employment Type: Casual (Aged Care Agency – Flexible Shifts)
About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Care Workers to support clients in residential aged care facilities across Lismore and surrounding areas. This is a casual agency role offering flexible shifts to suit your availability.
Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality personal care, including showering, grooming, toileting, and dressing

Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and use of mobility aids
-
Support residents with meals, hydration, and feeding where required
-
Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition or behaviour
-
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
-
Follow individual care plans and organisational policies
-
Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment
-
Work collaboratively with nursing and care staff
Essential Requirements

Minimum 6 months paid experience as a Personal Care Worker in aged care
-
Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or equivalent)

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain

Current Police Check
-
Evidence of up-to-date COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations (as per facility requirements)

Manual Handling and Infection Control training

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends
Desirable
-
Experience working across multiple aged care facilities (agency experience)

Current First Aid and CPR

Reliable transport
